I love cables. They are one of my favorite things to knit, and making them on the knitting board is so easy. By simply having stitches trade places, you can create beautiful and intricate designs. This Cabled Beanie would be a great introduction to cables and a stylish accessory for the winter.

Materials

Knitting Loom: 18” AKB Knitting Board set at standard (1/2”) spacer setting.

Yarn: 130 yards of bulky weight yarn. Lion Brand Alpine Wool (#106 Blueberry) was used in sample.

Notions: Tapestry Needle, Knitting tool, Crochet hook, Stitch markers (8)

Gauge: 3.75” for 12 stitches and 1” for 3 rows

Fits youth/average adult (Because of the ribbing stitch this hat will fit a large range of sizes. I have tried it on a 12 year old all the way up to an adult male, and it fit.)
