This is a Loom Knitted pattern using:

Provocraft 48 peg Adult Hat Loom (Purple) This is one where the pegs are slightly closer together to give a tighter knit.

(This is not the YELLOW loom that comes in the four loom set).

5.5 mm crochet needle for cast on
2 Buttons
2 Markers for the loom

Any Chunky wool, or Bulky wool will do, or double up your wool.

With this white hat, I doubled up the chunky yarn. For the decreased crown I used a single strand. This is what I found best that works well, you will have to use your own judgement.

Knowledge of: Ewrap, Pearl, Uwrap, crochet cast on would be helpful, I do provide some teaching in the pattern written and visually.

This is a 9 page photo illustrated pattern which is easy to follow, even for the novice user.
