Yarn: Requires 200 yards/70 g bright multicolored chenille, 200 yards/50 g boucle loop or brushed mohair. A smooth strong yarn to carry the beads.

Stitch instructions: Written stitch instructions. Easy 5-row pattern of alternating stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch welts. The scarf begins at both outer edges and attaches in the middle so a loop remains at one end. Neat trick! Finish with an optional looped bead fringe at the pointed end.

Beads: Size 8/0 glass seed beads - 480 (approximately 15 g).

Sizing:

  • 8” by 36 “ muffler for a cuddly warm scarf pulled up around the neck.

  • 5” by 52” tippet for a looser casually draped scarf on the shoulders.

From the pattern description: A quick and simple to knit scarf-like accessory, looped at one end and pointed on the other with optional bead fringe. Pattern includes instructions for two versions: muffler and tippet. Wear Loop-D-Loop Scarf with pointed end pulled through loop for a unique fashion statement. Choose any any combination of 2 or 3 strands of yarns that together will knit to a super-bulky gauge.
