Lorelei is the main character in my book, Lorelei’s Journey: Knits for (Mermaid) Dolls and those who Love Them. She is the best friend your little has been looking for and provides hours of fun with all her accessories and clothes!

Lorelei loves her sandy cove, but every night she looks up at the twinkling stars and makes a wish for a friend to visit her be- cause she is so very lonely. As she gazes out at the horizon, she wonders what it would be like to visit beyond where the water touches the sky. She imagines the kind of friends that she might meet and what types of adven- tures they might have together. She loves her ocean home, and she has lots of fun with her yarn and knitting needles, but she longs for a friend that she can share her projects with, wouldn’t you like to be Lorelei’s friend? With a few basic knitting skills, you can whip her up in a jiffy, and she will be oh so happy to meet you!
