The Lotus Shawl is a triangular lace shawl with a lush and dramatic lotus flower edging.

This pattern has two versions, with different stitch patterns for the shawl body. “Pods” has openwork inspired by the texture of lotus pods. “Waves” has ripples of lace, evoking a lotus pond.

The pattern includes both line-by-line and charted instructions for both versions.

A quick note on yarn: the pattern use heavier laceweight or light fingering yarn.
