“Sprout” is a baby blanket with an embossed leaf motif, knit in a soft, machine-washable blend of organic cotton and superwash wool.

It’s a sweet, soft, and nurturing blanket, in the perfect small size to tuck into strollers or car seats.

The pattern has a rich, three-dimensional texture that looks equally stunning on the front and back. Although it’s a challenging pattern, it’s clearly laid out in charts and photos.

Errata: In the September 2009 version of the pattern, there is a small mistake in Row 18 of “Leaf Repeats” chart. The left-most blue square of the row should be gray. A corrected pattern has now been uploaded to the Ravelry store.
