The Lotus Sweater is an interplay of positive and negative ease to create a drapy and comfortable sweater, that is worked seamlessly from the top down in an easy construction with a unique look. The pattern offers a twisted and untwisted option for the collar.

My sample is knitted in size 92 cm /36” (… actual chest) and shown on an 88 cm / 34.5” dress form.

I can see this sweater in a gradient yarn combination too, maybe solid/tonal fingering and the silk mohair in gradient shades. There are many options to turn this sweater into a completely different look with your yarn choice.

  • 2 circular needles (a long one for body and shoulders and a short one for the collar and hips) US 6 - 4 mm or a size to obtain gauge and a set of double pointed needles
