Pattern notes

Louise is a beanie style hat with a slightly negative fit. It is knit in two colour brioche stitch pattern and is fully reversible.

The hat is knit bottom up in the round on circular or/and double pointed needles. The knitting starts with a basic long tail cast-on, no fancy or tricky techniques are involved.

The easy sequence of decreases and increases shifts from section to section creating the pattern that reminds the flowing glacial streams that feed Lake Louise known for its turquoise water.
