Use your leftovers to make this adorable Christmas decoration with a heart motif- perfect for gifting or hanging on the tree.

Yarn: 8g DK yarn in MC, 3g DK yarn in CC, 225m/100g, per bauble.
Shown in: A Little Bit Sheepish British Bluefaced Leicester DK in “Diana” (green) and “Minerva” (grey); 100% wool; 225m/100g.

Needles: 3.0 mm double pointed needles or circular needle(s) for working in the round on a small circumference; 60 cm length suggested for circular needle.

Notions: Crochet hook for cast on, tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker, stuffing.

Skills: Emily Ocker cast on, working in the round, knit, increasing stitches, colourwork, decreasing stitches, i-cord (instructions given), weaving in ends.

Gauge: 28sts and 32 rows over 10 cm in stocking stitch. For this pattern gauge is not essential- choose a needle size that gives a firm fabric which doesn’t let the stuffing show through. Differing gauges may affect the amount of yarn required.

Sizing: Finished bauble has a diameter of approximately 6.5 cm. Plus hanging loop.
