What better a way to celebrate love than by creating hearts on your stitches. Ever mindful of the warmth of puppy kisses on the neck, Love Letters Cowl wraps you cozy even when your love is away from your presence. Write your Love Letters Cowl on your needles in your two favorite colors. This happy heart cowl keeps you smiling from picot cast on through winter’s frosty chill.

The teched edited and test knit pattern is fully written and charted and comes with a stitch tutorial.

Special Notes:
Slip It: always slip as if to purl with yarn in back.
Cable It: Love Letters Cowl features a medley of 1/1 cables. A cable needle is optional. You may choose to work the sts out of order without one.
Cross It: be sure to cross yarns at MC and CC transitions.
Watch It: check out the Knit Eco Chic stitch in focus blog for a video demonstration of kfyof.
Wash It: if knitting with red and white yarn the blocking can be a bit nerve wrecking. A few tricks include pre-washing your red yarn to eliminate excess dye. Using vinegar or salt in cold water may help, too. Of course, there is the “never wash it” option as well. If concerned, knit a swatch and wash to preview what will happen with your Love Letters Cowl. Thanks to tester, Antionette Calder, for the salt suggestion!
