A tape measure cover, knitted flat in one piece and seamed, with attached knitted heart motif, and fairisle cover for tape measure tab. The heart theme relates to Valentine’s Day.

It was intended for use with the 4ply yarn included with the magazine, but any 4ply yarn can be substituted.

Three colours of 4ply yarn are required, the finished item (excluding tape measure) weighing less than 20g.

Errata

• In the Cover section, “Row 1” should read “row 2”, and there is no row 1.
• In the Heart section: (1) The total no. of sts after row 10 is 11 sts (not 5 sts). (2) “Rows 5, 7 and 9 Purl” should read “Rows 5, 7, 9 and 11 Purl”. (3) Rows 11 and 13 should be called rows 12 and 14.
• In the To Make Up section, “With RS facing” should be “with WS facing”, because it then says “turn right way out.”
