All Rainbow Knits original designs are very practical as well as cute and quirky. This loveheart muff certainly fits the bill!

The muff is knitted seamlessly and features ribbed secret pockets that cling to little (and adult) hands. Not only does this mean that you won’t need a hazardous neck cord to keep it safely on, but the double-layer of yarn plus a good air gap means the muff is much toastier than gloves or mittens alone.

As this knitting pattern is the advanced version (simpler version available separately), I assume that you can already knit in the round, graft using Kitchener Stitch, for example, and cast-on seamlessly. If you’re a bit rusty, I’ve provided photos and links to remind you.

It is written in 3 sizes:

  • toddler (1-3)
  • child (3-7)
  • adult (8-adult)

You need 5mm and 6.5mm circular needles, 1 x 100g skein of yarn (2 x 100g for adult size), plus scraps of yarn in rainbow colours.
