Original instructions call for size 80 crochet/tatting thread and Stahlstricknadeln Nr. 6/0 (modern size 1.75mm), for a finished size 20 cm in diameter.

There is a completely different pattern called Löwenzahn in Kunststricken: Schöne alte Blütenmuster.

Löwenzahn means dandelion.

Note: There are two designers listed for Beyer Band 711: Herbert Niebling and Marianne Vitt. Please see this forum post for an explanation of why Marianne Vitt is the presumed designer of this pattern.
