This gown and hat will fit a 2 inch porcelain dollshouse baby doll. The gown has been designed with a back opening so that it can be removed from the doll.

There is a row of eyelets between the two lace sections of the skirt that are designed to take a piece of 2mm ribbon. Silk ribbon is much better than satin ribbon for this as it drapes and is more in keeping with the scale.

The front and back are made separately then sewn together at the shoulder with the sleeves, neck and back opening edges added afterwards.

The little hat has a simple knitted lacy edging.
