Crochet the lozenge blanket which I designed for “Landleven” (Dutch magazine, translation: Country Life) in your own favorite color combination with the aid of this pattern. I also included the color schemes of the crochet kits to make your blanket exactly as in the pictures.

Note! The English version of the pattern is written in US terms and sizes. A legend is added to find the UK terms and sizes.

Materials, needles and notions (for a blanket with a width of 1.37 yards (1.25 m) and a heist of 1.91 yds (1.75 m)

  • Yarn: Scheepjes Cotton 8, 23 balls in total. Of which 16 balls for the lozenges (complete, half and quarter), 5 balls for the rounds of double crochets all around the lozenges, 1 ball for the join and 1 ball for the edging around the blanket.
  • Crochet hook: US size 4 (3.5 mm)
  • Darning needle, scissors, blocking material (blocking mat and pins) to block your blanket
