This headband requires less than one ounce (usually one ball) of qiviut yarn and is small enough to complete in a weekend. I adapted the Lozenge pattern from the decoration on a Yup’ik sewing kit. The simple pattern introduces the main stitches used in lace knitting, so this is a good starting project for new lace knitters.”
