A slouchy hat pattern with instructions for 7 different weights of yarn.
A simple slip stitch pattern gives this easy hat a little character.
You now have one pattern that can be used for any yarn you have because there are instructions for fingering, sport, DK, worsted, aran, bulky and super bulky weight yarns.
The weights and yardages used for each hat are included for easy substitution of yarns.
Great for stash busting or handspun yarns.
Included in the pattern are photos, a complete list of abbreviations, and a stitch glossary.
Experience with knitting in the round is necessary.
Skill level: Advanced beginner
Pattern notes: This hat is worked from the bottom up. The ribbing is snug, measuring about 16 inches at the top of the ribbing unstretched. The body of the hat is loose, between 21 and 22 inches.
I have used several indie yarns in my samples; the idea is not to use the yarn I used but to be able to use any yarn you want and match it to the appropriate gauge.
