I was in a fickle-type mood when I finally kicked my own arse and boop! Out came this hat!

It’s a fun, simple knit with 7 cables around and 7 cables up, all crossed on the 7th row. Hence the Lucky 7 Hat! Decreases are worked so the cables will stay the same width all the way to the final cross, too.

All you need to get lucky is ~55-60 grams of worsted weight yarn. Works well with solid or variegated colorways, with or without the brim (options for both in pattern).

UPDATE: PDF was updated on 4.3.08 with the following: 1) note to join and knit in the round, and 2) note that the type of needles (circs, dpns) and use of stitch markers weren’t included to give you the flexibility to adjust for your preferred method instead of mine. :)
