The Lucky Baby Lopapeysa is a top-down seamless sweater designed for newborns. It uses evenly spaced increases and self-striping sock yarn to mimic (somewhat) the look of an Icelandic Lopapeysa-style sweater. It was developed with Aldi sock yarn and uses almost a whole skein of a solid color and maybe a third of a skein of the self-striping color. It features an exceedingly stretchy cast-on that will expand enough to accommodate that big baby head, but not fall off their little shoulders or leave their wee chest exposed to the cold.

The pattern is not yet graded for size. I hope to get to that someday.
