Sock designed for the Meadowlake Arts Infamous Women Yarn Club.

Lucrezia Borgia -- villainous extraordinaire or innocent victim. Just the name Borgia has become synonymous with treachery, deceit, and poison. While it is highly doubtful that Lucrezia was a completely innocent victim of her father and brother, it is unlikely she was the complete villain that she has been made out to be.

The socks feature a textured pattern representing the many steps and columns of Venice. A little bit of (optional) lace at the top is a nod to Lucrezia’s femininity.

Textured pattern is both written and charted. The pattern does not specify the type of heel, though directions are included for the type used in the prototype.
