Inspired by Lucy Honeychurch from A Room with a View.

“This warm Edwardian-inspired round shawl is the perfect wrap for winters at Windy Corner—or for your own romantic comedy, wherever it may be. It’s knit in the round (read: all knitting, yay!) using Eliza- beth Zimmerman’s famous pi formula, and it’s edged with a simple feather and fan pattern. Not only does it knit up very quickly, but the loose gauge also prevents the warm farmstead alpaca yarn from getting too heavy (important with a shawl worn folded in half ) and the extra space really allows the airy halo to bloom. The whole circle is bound off then immediately picked up so that lace edge is more distinct and stable.”
