I was brought up in a family of woods workers and the smell of a chainsaw, wood chips and woollen Lumber Jack Socks drying on the wood stove brings back a flood of childhood memories. Hence the creation of the Lumber Jillian Patterns, a touch of country, classic comfort and of course that added touch of feminism that I love so much.

The series, of course, is based on the simple, classic Lumber Jack socks. You know, those great grey, white and one tiny strip of red socks? This is real casual, classic look for walking in the woods, or working in your yard. Pair them with your favourite jean jacket and all you will need is the chainsaw… or a lumber man… your choice!

Pattern includes 6 pages of easy to follow instructions with a seven step by step pictures to help you along the way plus I include with every purchase my “Hints and Tips from the Crochet Hook of Bella McBride” to help you along the way.
