Lumberjane is a clean and simple shawl pattern with a stockinette body and some seed stitch accents. It makes a quick and easy knit perfect for gift knitting or to use with a special skein you’ve been saving.

Increases are made at the edges of both the right and wrong side edges to make a wider, shallower shawl with enough width to wrap up in on crisp Autumn days.

This is a great pattern to use with highly variegated skeins, kettle dyed skeins or finds from your favorite indie dyers. The stitch pattern won’t interfere or compete with these skeins and the texture will add interest without being ‘too much’.

Lumberjane is meant to use up every bit of a typical sized fingering weight skein of yarn.
