Lumina
A reversible, semicircular shaped shawl that glows in a hand-dyed silk blend, Lumina is knit in garter stitch with an easy transition to the lace edging. Begun at the top with a garter tab, and designed to maximize every yard of a special yarn, the body and edging size is easily customized for yardage.
Techniques Used: garter tab CO, knit, purl, lace; edging is both written and charted.
Experience Level: Intermediate.
Other Materials:
US 6 40” circular needle.
US 9 needle for BO.
Waste yarn for provisional CO.
Stitch markers (6).
Yarn needle.
