Notes
-This cardigan is worked from the bottom up in two pieces, working the left side of the body and the right side of the body separately; each side of the body includes both the front and back. After adding a band of garter stitch on each side of the centre back, both halves of the body are joined at the centre of the back, while leaving a slit at the bottom.
-The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff up, with a shallow sleeve cap worked back and forth using short rows.
-The sleeves are shorter for the larger sizes because the shoulders are wider than normal.
-The sleeves of the finished cardigan should come to about 15 cm / 6” short of the wrist.
