Many, many years ago, gigantic asteroids in our solar system impacted the moon and formed lunar craters, leaving their rims to form lunar mountains.
Luna is a reversible shawl with craters and mountains visible from both sides. Like the moon, the final result is mesmerizing. The pattern repeat is easy to remember and knits up quickly.

The pattern includes 3 sizes (Scarf, Stole, & Shawl) and allows for your to adjust width and length. It includes both written instruction and charts. (Current photos show scarf and Stole) The Tubular Bind Off and Tubular Cast On have both a video and written instructions

Techniques used:
Tubular cast on, knit, purl, knit two together, purl two together, drop stitch, knit front back, purl front back, slip one with yarn in front, tubular bind off (sewn or Kitchener Stitch)

Gauge
Due to the nature of the stitch and fabric stretching gauge is not vital.
4 sts and 5 rows in stockinette after blocking

Yarn
Any DK yarn can be used, though yarn that blocks well is recommended. That being said, this pattern has been knit in acrylic as well and can be blocked with some patience.
