This two-coloured squared-shape shawl includes textured body, beautiful Japanese styled lace border and bind of row is decorated with mix of bobbles and picots.

Gauge with needles 3,5 mm and after wet blocking
Broken rib – 20 sts x 38 r=10 cm (4”)
Gauge is not very crucial for this project, but any changes in gauge may affect yarn requirements and the measurement of the finished shawl.

Fingering-weight yarn, 100g=400m
You need 2 skeins for main colour (MC) and 1.6 skeins for contrasting colour (CC)

Needles and notions
Circular needles 3.5 mm, 60cm (needle A) and 100cm long (needle B)
Circular needles 3.0 mm 60 cm long (needle C) for the bride
2 different colour stitch markers: 1 special stitch marker for the beginning of the round (marker A) and 3 stitch markers with one colour (marker B)

Blocking wires and rustproof pins

The sample is knitted from Hedgehog Fibres Sock (colorways Coral and Chrystal).
