This mens’ scarf is a lifesaver for those who tend to lose their scarves. The scarf is knitted in an easy ’knit six, purl six’ –pattern and has I-cord finishing on all edges to keep it neat. It is attached with three buttons to keep you from losing it. You have eight buttonholes so you can vary the position of the scarf around your neck. Choose a favourite handdyed yarn and light buttons to suit your clothes and the scarf will keep you warm for many years.

One size. Length 100 cm, width 25 cm.

You need one skein of La Fée Fil Fingering (75% merino 25% nylon, 425m/100g) in colourway Edinburgh. You need all the yarn. 3 buttons.

Gauge 24 sts in k6,p6 pattern with 3,5 mm needles = 10 cm, unblocked. The gauge is not obligatory, so feel free to use any yarn you like!

Thank you to my dear test knitters @ellipsi and @ihmishirviö for your valuable comments on the pattern.

Enjoy your knitting!
