From the Lutzling pattern description:

"This is a V necked seamless raglan cardigan, sized for infants and knit from the bottom up. It is decorated with a simple knit/purl pattern above the body and sleeve ribbings. The body and sleeves are decorated with a simple pattern, which you can either do as texture or color."

The original Lutzling, my niece Katie, is now 12 years old and will likely be joining Ravelry herself soon, since she’s an avid knitter. I designed this sweater because we didn’t know if we were expecting a girl or boy Lutzling, and I wanted a simple seamless cardigan that would work for either gender. I’m delighted to see how many people have made this pattern their own!
