Lyric Opera Lace is an oversized staggered eyelet pattern that simulates a honeycomb of lacey mesh with a rolled cord edge. This Wrap or Scarf is the perfect trendy accessory that can be dressed up for the Opera or jujj up your jeans and white blouse. It’s designed to block easily using wires, by utilizing small yarnovers on the sides. Pattern is written in two widths. Blocking tutorial included.

Note on Gauge: an exact gauge is less important for this project; however I would test the stitch pattern to make sure you are happy with the openness of the pattern. I have included my gauge below.

Gauge= 18.8 stitches over 4” in pattern or 6 sts per inch in stockinette blocked on a US#3.

Yarn substitutes: Any yarn weight can be used, adjust pattern in increments of 4 stitches to achieve desired width, adjusting needle size accordingly for desired openness of fabric
