ANNOUNCEMENT, January 2011: Due to dozens of questions about my silly cable abbreviations, and a couple of other issues, I am currently working on a full revision of the pattern. My most humble apologies to all who have had trouble with my pattern writing of three years ago, and I will do my darndest to clarify and simplify as much as possible. Anyone who has purchased the pattern in the past and would like a copy of the revision will receive one at no extra charge - I’m more than happy to help you enjoy your knitting of my design as much as I can. Some changes may be quite different from the original, especially regarding sizing, but if you’ve finished you’re sweater and you’re totally pleased, that is wonderful :)
I am eternally grateful to every single knitter who has purchased this pattern, as it has put food in my tummy in many times of need over the past three years. When I write my book someday, it will be dedicated to every single one of you.
Thank you for everything, and I wish you all the best of everything for the new year!

Pattern now available from StrickenKnits.etsy.com! Please allow a few days for delivery via email - I’m a busy college student with an iffy internet connection :)

Pictured at the bottom on the left is a swatch of the revised neckline - very easy self-finishing cabled edge!

Sizing (measured flat around bust): 28”(32,36,40,44,48,52)

Keep in mind that there is no waist shaping, and the bust area is wide open in the front, so I suggest a bit of negative ease.

Skeins per size: 5(5,6,6,7,7,7); needles need to be circular, length depends on your size.

BIG HUGE THANKS to everyone who has purchased the pattern!! Can’t wait to see all your sweaters - especially from across the pond! (The pattern has now gone out to Finland, Denmark, Scotland, England, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Japan!)
