This is a pattern for a child’s vest (ages 2-10)
This is the wolf sweater vest or tank top if you prefer, knit flat with a pretty intricate intarsia wolf face on the front. The front and back are knit separately, and then joined together with a three needle cast off at the shoulders. The sides are seamed together and then the armhole borders and neckline ribbing are picked up and knit in the round. The vest is knit with Studio Donegal, Donegal Tweed, using one main background colour and five contrasting colours for the intarsia motif. The vest is cosy and warm, but without the added bulk of sleeves, making it suitable for wearing over a t-shirt in Autumn and Spring-time and also under a coat for extra warmth in Winter.
