Standard gauge Machine Knit Removable Beard with Removable Mustache. This could adapt easily to other gauge machines. Yarn is estimate, because this is a good pattern to use up partial cones or scraps. Up to 6 buttons are used to attach removable hat and mustache, but you could use any fastener.

Hat: I made it removable because after the novelty of the beard wears off it’s still a hat. Hat knit doubled and reversible, but I explain how to make it single, cuff or no cuff, and more. Using Tamm 3 ply, Mary Lou, or 3 strands of 2/24 I have written out machine standard gauge pattern for 3 sizes. Using approximate tension 7.5 st, 10.5 rows per inch.

Adult to Age 5, Toddler to age 3yrs, Infant newborn to 6mo, (3 inch cuff if desired)
Any yarn, any stitch, any size hat, or headband, hand or machine knit. I explain in detail how to adjust the pattern to your gauge, tension, and desired size.
