This is an easy earflap hat to make on your chunky knitting machine (made on a Brother KH260). I have shown nine examples mostly of fairisle but you can make it plain or add whatever embellishments you like. Size usually will fit 10 yr old and up but size differs a bit with yarn chosen and colour. For the Bernat Mosaic hat which is the most popular seller you will need one ball and you should have a little bit left over (I have guessed at the yardage I used as I don’t know for sure); for the others since they come in large balls you will be able to knit more than one hat. On my web site I have noted which yarns I used for each hat. Enjoy!
