Meet Macklin - the perfect textured-and-just-a-little-bit-slouchy hat you’ve been looking for.

This hat will fit an average sized Ladies (or Men’s) head (58cm circumference), although you could easily modify the pattern to fit your head by altering the number of ribbing cast on stitches to your preference.

You can knit two of this hat using one ball of Bendigo Woolen Mills Luxury 8ply yarn as each ball comes in 200g weights, or can substitute any 100g skein (200m) of DK weight yarn. If you are worried about running out of yarn you could make the hat a little less slouchy by working one or two less pattern repeats, forgo the pom pom, or make the pom pom in a different colour.

Please note that pom poms may present a choking hazard for children aged 3 years and under. If you make the hat with pom poms, you may need to include a choking hazard warning label to that effect on the finished product.

Instructions are provided in written format.

Enjoy!
