These fingerless mitts are the perfect accessory for that in-between weather or when the office is overzealous on its A/C usage. Named because the Clean Cashmere colorways reminded me of Monet’s water lily paintings, Madame Monet Mitts are worked in the round from the cuff to approximately mid-fingers. After a knitted cast on is worked to create picot points, ribbing ensures the cuff hugs the wrists before the brick-like slipped stitch pattern is worked in the mitts’ body and thumb increases through to the bind off. The thumb is then picked up and continued in the slip stitch pattern before being bound off.

Madame Monet Mitts are worked completely in the round.
