Published on my blog Tales from Mount Pleasant, this patten is a ‘How-to’ guide for creating a made-to-measure cover for plant pots detailing which measurements you need to take and how to convert those measurements into stitches to create the perfect pot cosy for your treasured indoor plants.

Perfect for beginners who are looking to stretch themselves a little or more experienced crocheters who would like to break free from ‘pattern following’.

Use any type of yarn you have and corresponding hook size to create the perfect cosy that matches your interior or simply create beautiful, colourful cosies to use up all those odd bits of yarn left over from other projects.

My examples use only chains, double crochet and treble crochet stitches but feel free to use whichever stitches you want. I have also added a pretty ribbon trim but again this is entirely optional.
