Maeve’s Hat is knit in the round from the brim up. It features a knit-in-hem for style and to help retain shape of the brim over time.

Instructions for the bead placement pattern are written and charted for personal preference. All measurements are given in US and metric.

Yarn: Fingering weight (Shown in PDS Tenderfoot 80/20)
125 (145, 175, 200, 230, 250) yd. / 115 (130, 160, 180, 210, 230) m

Needles:
US 1.5 / 2.5 mm (for brim)
US 2.5 / 3 mm (for main body)

Beads: Size 6 (or larger) seed beads
104 (126, 150, 175, 204, 234) beads

Notions: US 14 / .75 mm crochet hook, (5) stitch markers (one of a different color to denote beginning of round), tapestry needle, and a tape measure.

GAUGE
