My favorite scarves are made with a simple feather and fan stitch pattern in fingering weight yarn, lightweight but fluffy and warm. I wanted a hat to match, and I couldn’t find a pattern, so I made one.

The pattern includes instructions for a feather and fan scarf, which requires 2-3 additional hanks of yarn.
