I’ve made this a few different times, in various iterations, for kids in my life and I finally wrote it down.

You turn the pocket inside out to create the bottom of the sleeper, and button it into the fabric to keep it closed. The sleeves have a knit-in folding point that forms a cuffed edge for the baby sleeper, and unfolds to long sleeves for the toddler sweater.
