Any fingering weight yarn would work nicely, you’ll need approximately 30gms.

These mitts look pretty ugly when they’re on the needles (and off for that matter) but worry not, they look gorgeous once they’ve got hands in them!

Gauge is not really an issue, they’re done entirely in rib (except for the first part of the thumb gusset) so they’re very stretchy. If you normally knit particularly tightly or loosely, change your needle size accordingly.
