Fun and extremely flexible, this medium-sized, triangular scarf is great to take into cold restaurants, movie theaters, and the occasional hunt for hidden mouses at your favorite theme park. The use of the Love Knot stitch creates a simple yet visually interesting piece. Bold variegated yarn or solids work equally well. The shawl works up to be lightweight and drapes beautifully, and can be made with or without the mouse medallions. This pattern begins with a long chain and decreases each row. Use #2 weight/ sock yarn for a light airy shawl.

Pattern gives specific written directions, including photos, for working the mouse medallions into the fabric. However, you can omit this and just sew on the medallions after the scarf is finished.
