Der Seelenwärmer wird offen gestrickt mit Einsätzen aus verkürzten Reihen.
Die Anleitung ist auch für Anfänger geeignet, die noch nie mit verkürzten Reihen gestrickt haben.

Material:

Rondo Wolle Feria FB 889 bunt 100g mit einer Lauflänge von 420m
Das Kontrastgarn sollte dem Hauptgarn in etwa angepasst sein von der Stärke. Hier in dem Fall ist es gelb ohne Banderole, besitzt die gleiche Lauflänge und Stärke

Rundstricknadel 3,5
6 Maschenmakierer Farbe egal
Wollnadel zum vernähen der Fäden
1 Häkelnadel Nummer 3 für die Maschenaufnahme

Buttoned poncho

Materials and tools needed
Magie der Blätter (Leaf Magic) is a buttoned poncho with armholes and collar, worked almost seamlessly in the short row technique from modular elements. Variegated or gradient/long color repeat yarns work best for the leaf motifs (may be substituted with remnants in different colors), complemented by a matching or contrasting solid color for the lines.

The pattern is written as a row-by-row description with the two elements (leaf motif and line) explained in detail at the beginning of the instructions. Two sizes are provided with general instructions on size adjustments.
You will need any fingering weight yarn with a yardage of 420 m [460 yds] per 100 g [3.5 oz]

Total yarn amount needed:
For size S/M:
180 – 200 g [6.4 – 7 oz] MC (long color repeat), 80 – 100 g [2.8 – 3.5 oz] CC (solid colored)
For size L/XL:
200 – 220 g [7 – 7.8 oz] MC (long color repeat), 100 – 120 g [3.5 – 4.2 oz] CC (solid colored)

Gauge: 22 sts and 33 rows in garter stitch = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches]

Needles:
– (1) circular knitting needle 3.5 mm [US4], 100 cm [40 inches] long.
If using a different yarn weight, choose needle size according to ball band recommendations.
– (1) crochet hook 3 mm [US between C and D / 2 and 3, Canada 11] for provisional cast-on

Notions:
– 6 stitch markers in any color (or safety pins, if you prefer)
– tapestry needle for weaving in ends and seaming (seaming is optional)

You will need to know:
CO, casting on with crochet hook and/or knit-on cast on, BO, knit, k2tog, purl
The special Turning Stitch (Double Stitch) used for the short row sections is explained in the pattern.
