A pretty spring cardigan of lace mesh & ribbing

Worked on circular needles back in forth from the bottom up, this cardigan changes from lace mesh to 1x1 ribbing and then to 1x3 ribbing framed by garter st edgings, cuffs and buttonband. Set-in sleeves are knit in the rnd to the underarm and then worked back and forth.

Yarn required:
Any fingering weight 100% cotton of your choice, 16oz/454gm approx. = 2100yds/1920m.
Cover model size XS, was knit with Ringspun Cotton in Purple.

Needles ‘n’ Notions:
Four 2.5mm (US 1) double-pointed needles, one 2.5mm (US 1) 16”/40.5cm circular knitting needle & one 2.5mm (US 1) 40”/101.5cm circular knitting needle or size to obtain gauge. Stitch holders, four markers, one darning needle & three 12mm rhinestone buttons with shanks.
