I fell in love with the Eyelet Crescent Lace when I first opened my new copy of Wendy Bernard’s Up, Down, All-Around Stitch Dictionary. I loved how it mimicked the slanting rope of a cable and knew that it had to become a hat.

If you are a tight knitter, I recommend going up a needle size.
