Máire is a traditional, somewhat Irish inspired shawl. The pattern instructions yield a very generously sized shawl, suitable for tall ladies. It is possible to leave out pattern repeats to size it down a bit. Instructions on this point are included.

It’s not a difficult pattern but possibly a bit beyond a complete beginner.
