Really easy to knit on two needles, to fit larger dogs for whom patterns are hard to find. Easy two-row mock rib stitch that is quick to knit and gives a clean colour change for stripes - useful for using up odd part balls of yarn. Use any yarn that knits to standard tension (gauge) of 22 sts and 28 rows to 4”.
Designed for my own rescue dog and for the Animal Sanctuary she came from - if you want to use this pattern to knit coats for your own or friends’ dogs, or for your local dogs’ home, feel free - but please don’t use it to make coats to sell for personal profit.
