This blanket was inspired by a similar one I saw on Theresa’s blog and knew I had to make one myself.

This pattern includes easy to follow instruction sheets and the graph of the design.

The blanket is fun and easy to do. As long as you can knit and pick up stitches you will be able to accomplish this project.

The blanket shown on a picture was knitted using Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino yarn on 3.75mm needles.

Gauge (tension square): 24 stitches and 23 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch. Note that gauge is not very important for this project. It’s a blanket after all, not a fitted garment ;o)

Choose your favourite colours, adjust the blanket size so that it suits your personal needs (it may be knitted as a baby blanket or as big as a king size throw).
