The Make Your Own Colorway Hat is the perfect quick project to play with colors and use up leftover and orphan balls of yarn in your stash. Don’t be afraid to just use another ball if you run out of one color before the hat is done – it will only add to the fun. Even the gauge of yarns don’t have to be exact. If you have a heavy worsted and a light worsted – they’ll be fine together. A sport and a fingering – go for it, though I mostly like this hat to be worsted or bulky – maybe I’m just cold lately! If you have full leftover balls! Why not make a set with the Make You Own Colorway Cowl!

The purple sample is made with Ella Rae Huenique in color 10, Noro Kureyon #434 and Louisa Harding Amitola Grande #536. The aqua sample is made with a bunch of undetermined leftovers.
