3 patterns in 1! Contains instructions for:

  • mini sweaters
  • mini socks
  • mini hats and a very detailed photo tutorial to make mini pom poms in a quick and easy way!

After several requests for a pattern to knit my mini sweaters, mini socks and mini hats I’ve finally wrote it up for you. This pattern gives you the structure in a single color. You can either make your minis in one color (variegated sock yarn is lovely for those) or add stripes and get creative…

Knitting instructions are written and a photo tuturial for mini pom poms is included.

Skill level: easy.

Techniques: knit/purl in the round, increase/decrease, pick up stitches (sweater and socks), short rows (socks), kitchener grafting (socks).

Yarn: Fingering weight (sock yarn or baby yarn are great choices)
about 40 yards for 1 mini sweater.
about 30 yards for 1 mini socks.
about 30 yards for 1 mini hat.

Gauge: 32 stitches x 40 rows = 4” in stockinette (but it doesn’t really matter).

Tools: Size US 2 / 2.75 mm double-pointed needles; tapestry needle; scissors; 4 stitch markers (sweater); waste yarn (sweater); fork (for hat pom pom).
